The FrankenTurbo F650 is the most popular bolt-in hybrid turbo for the BMW N55. This is the PWG (pneumatic-wastegate) version for F07/F10/F11 chassis — the correct fit for an early F10 535i. It is a ground-up hybrid, not a rebuilt OEM core: a cast twin-scroll turbine housing/manifold, an Inconel turbine rotor, a point-milled billet compressor wheel, an up-rated shaft and 360° thrust bearing, and a DualForce wastegate actuator. The result keeps near-OEM spool while opening up serious top-end airflow. FrankenTurbo states 550+ WHP is achievable on a fully supporting build (upgraded HPFP/LPFP, downpipe, FMIC, and a FlexFuel tune). Backed by a 2-year limited warranty.
