H&R Sport Springs are the benchmark street lowering spring for the F10 platform — German cold-wound chromium-silicon steel with a progressive rate that fills the arches and sharpens turn-in without the harshness of coilovers. For the F10 RWD 528i/535i (and F06/F12/F13 640i/650i Gran Coupé) the correct set is part 28947-1, which lowers roughly 1.4" (~35mm) front and 1.3" (~33mm) rear. IMPORTANT: this set is RWD only — the xDrive (AWD) F10 uses a different H&R part (50471). Designed to work with OEM dampers (matched dampers always recommended). TÜV-documented.
